745 was born out of frustration. Our founders were everyday South Africans who relied on e-hailing to get to work, events, and family — and kept running into the same problems: surge pricing at the worst moments, no easy way to plan a daily commute, and platforms built for global markets, not ours.
We asked one simple question: “What would a ride platform look like if it was designed specifically for South Africa?” The answer was 745.
